PIRATE GOLD COINS SHIPWRECK TREASURE  presents this "Blood Tears" variety, said to have been struck to MOURN the loss of the 1715 FLEET SHIPWRECK!  Very Rare!  We've only seen approx. 6 over the last decade and we've offered 5 of those.  Differentiated by both the "Blood Tears" and the extra Dots, but what really separates this piece even from the others we've had is the Double Dated "ANO 16."

This incredibly well struck / Doubled Dated and incredibly centered Gold Doubloon is Very Rare!  Even the Legends seem to have ample room on this large planchet. The Obverse (Pillar side) also has a great strike, also displaying Legends as well. Both sides are void of any doubling, rarely seen.1
